Subject: Passenger and Cargo Rates Adjustment due to falling oil prices
In the view of recent roll back in the price of petroleum products in the local and global markets which is the lowest for the past (12 ) twelve years, and order to protect and safeguard the interest of the riding public by ensuring the rates being charge remain just and equitable, MARINA required All Domestic Shipping Companies Operating Passenger or cargo ship in the liner of service to enjoined to reasonably adjust their passenger and cargo rate.
All concerned are directed to submit copies of their rate adjustment to the MARINA and/ or concerned MARINA Regional Offices.
